Delete your account and your data
Last updated: 28 September 2026
You can delete your account yourself, whenever you want, without asking anyone and without giving reasons. It is a right Law 172-13 gives you (arts. 8, 14 and 15), and here it is a button. It takes effect at once — the law allows up to 10 business days.
First: download your data
In My account, «Download my data» gives you a file with everything we keep about you (art. 10). If you are a dealer, download your business records too: they are deleted with the account, and the law requires you to keep your sales records for 10 years.
How
- Go to My account.
- At the very bottom, press Delete my account.
- We show you what will be deleted and ask you to confirm. Then it is deleted.
What is deleted
- Your account: email, name, phone, province, password and open sessions.
- The connection with Google or Facebook.
- Your listings, with their photos (also from our disk), their views and their equipment.
- Conversations about YOUR listings: they go with the listing, just like when you delete one. Their attachments are removed from our disk in the daily clean-up.
- Your favourites and the dealers you follow.
- The reviews you wrote.
- Your test-drive requests, your vehicle requests and the record of whose WhatsApp you asked for.
- Your verification details and documents (encrypted), also from our disk.
- If you are a dealer: your business records on the platform (sales, costs, customers, calendar, reservations, contracts, vehicle papers) and your logo. Download them first: the law requires YOU to keep your sales records for 10 years.
- Top listing orders you never paid for.
What is NOT deleted, why, and for how long
The law says data is not erased when that would harm someone else's rights, or when another law requires it to be kept (Law 172-13, arts. 8 and 15). Only that is kept, and each item has a time limit:
- Conversations about SOMEONE ELSE's listings stay in their inbox, showing «Deleted account» instead of your name. They are theirs too: deleting them would take away what they wrote and what was written to them.
For how long: Until that person deletes the listing or their account. Nothing reaches you any more: a deleted account cannot be replied to. Why: Law 172-13, arts. 8 and 15: data is not erased when that harms the rights of third parties. - Reports you filed against a listing stay, without your account: they protect other buyers.
For how long: As long as that listing exists. Why: Law 172-13, arts. 8 and 15 (third-party rights). - Payments you made for Top listings are kept, without any link to your account. So is one still waiting for confirmation with the money already on its way (you told us about the transfer, or paid by card and the confirmation had not reached us yet).
For how long: 10 years from the payment. After that, the note with the payment reference is erased too. A pending one that is never paid is erased after 30 days. Why: Tax Code (Law 11-92), art. 50(h): payment records must be kept for 10 years. - If there are OPEN reports against your listings, the details of those reports, those listings, their conversations and your account are BLOCKED: nobody uses or sees them, and they are only handed to a judge, prosecutor or authority that requests them in writing.
For how long: 7 years, and then they are erased automatically. Why: Law 172-13, art. 15 (blocking); Law 53-07, art. 15 and Criminal Procedure Code, art. 45 (electronic fraud has a 7-year limitation period). - What a dealer wrote down about you in THEIR records (a sale, a reservation, a contract, a warranty claim, their customer list) belongs to that dealer: they are responsible for that data and we only store it for them. Ask them to delete it; if they do not answer, write to us.
For how long: The dealer decides. The law requires them to keep sales records for 10 years. Why: Law 172-13, art. 6 (data controller and data processor). - If you worked on a dealer's team, their history keeps your name next to what you did, and what you wrote to their customers stays in those conversations as «Deleted account».
For how long: As long as the dealer keeps their account. Why: Law 172-13, art. 27.4 (employment relationship) and arts. 8 and 15 (third parties). - If your business was on our sales team's list of businesses: the BUSINESS record (trade name, phone, website and address, which are its public details) stays marked as discarded, with the text of the authorization you accepted and its date, so that nobody imports your inventory again without a new authorization. Your name, your email, and the IP address and browser you authorized from are erased, from the history too.
For how long: As long as that list exists. If you want us to erase the business record too, write to us and we will do it within 10 business days. Why: Law 172-13, art. 27.1 (data from publicly accessible sources) and arts. 8 and 14 (you can ask for it to be erased). - If you asked for deletion through Facebook: the confirmation code, the date, the result and a fingerprint of the number Facebook identifies you with (not the number itself).
For how long: So you can check the deletion with your code whenever you want. Why: Law 172-13, art. 27.9 (dissociated data: it does not identify anyone).
What «blocked» means
Law 172-13 (art. 15) says that cancelling leads to blocking: the data stops being used and is kept only for the courts and authorities, for as long as a possible liability can still be claimed, and then it is erased. We only do this when there is a concrete reason — an open fraud report against your listings. Everything else is erased at once.
Who cannot delete their own account
- The main administrator, and an AutoFullRD administrator until the main administrator removes that access.
- A member of a dealer's team: the dealer removes the account, or you leave the team first.
- A dealer with people on their team: remove them first, because deleting the dealer deletes them too.
- A dealer holding a buyer's deposit, or with an open warranty claim: close them first. They are your buyers' rights (art. 8).
- A dealer who sold a car whose legal warranty is still running (Law 63-17: engine and transmission, 3 months or 8,000 km): the buyer's certificate depends on the sale. The account can be deleted once the last one ends.
If you signed in with Google or Facebook
Deleting your account here also deletes the connection with them. You do not need to do anything on their side, and we no longer have your email. If you remove AutoFullRD from your Facebook settings, Facebook tells us and we do exactly the same as the button. If something on this list stops it, the page for your confirmation code says so, and we review it by hand within ten business days.
If you cannot sign in
Write to noreply@autofullrd.com from your account's email asking us to delete it, and we will do it within 10 business days (art. 8). The same address works to ask what we keep about you: we answer within 5 business days (art. 10).
